Saturday in the Park: Cross Pollination

Saturday in the Park: Cross Pollination

AIRIE, Artists in Residence in Everglades, presents a special Saturday in the Park, with Cross Pollination, a performance by Yukio Suzuki in partnership with PAXy at Royal Palm Visitor Center inside Everglades National Park.
Japanese dancer and choreographer Yukio Suzuki and Slovakian-born, Miami-based composer, sound / multimedia artist, performer, researcher and educator Juraj Kojs, collaborate to create, produce and present this multi-layered piece of performance art.
The project, Cross Pollination, will be presented at three locations throughout Miami-Dade County: the Everglades, following a month-long residency at AIRIE, the Lightbox at The Goldman Warehouse in Wynwood and Government Center Metrorail Station in Downtown Miami. The piece will adapt and ultimately evolve from its creation, at the Everglades’ Residency AIRIE, to each presentation.
Performance is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the Royal Palm Visitors Center. The event takes place on the First Day of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day, coinciding with one of Everglades National Park Free Entrance Days.
