Flamenco Sephardit

Flamenco Sephardit

World Dance
Featuring a cast of international opera stars, Flamenco masters, dancers, strings, and percussion, Flamenco Sephardit promises to leave you on the edge of your seat. The message of Flamenco Sephardit has always been to bring people of diverse cultures and religions together, to remind us that we all have similar origins, and therefore should live together in peace. The show has delighted over 10,000 in Miami, Austin, San Antonio, and Venice, Italy since its debut in 2014. This year the producers are thrilled to welcome Lakshmi "La Chimi" Basile, world-renowned Flamenco dancer, who has spent the past 15 years dancing in Sevilla, and her father Jeff Basile, acclaimed bass player and composer. Also joining the cast is Cuban-American soprano Laura Leon, returning with dancer Celia Fonta, guitarists Paco Fonta and Michel Gonzalez, vocalist Rabbi Marc Philippe, Adolfo Herrera on percussion, Chava Appiah on cello and Katherine Kobylarz on violin.
