Meet us for a brief tribute at the General Antonio Maceo statue at Cuban Memorial Park, then take a stroll with us to Old's Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina (1442 SW 8th Street Miami, FL 33135) to continue discussing Maceo's legacy and network with other professionals. We encourage you to bring flowers and candles to help commemorate General Maceo's legacy.

About Antonio Maceo
Born June 14, 1845, Antonio Maceo y Grajales became an entrepreneur and one of the greatest military commanders of the both the 1868 and the 1895 wars for independence. When the final battle with the Spanish enemy was imminent, Maceo was killed in combat on December 7,1895. He was then 51 and had devoted 32 years of his life to the independence of Cuba. -AfroCubaWeb
